Byron Player Win's 2017 PWSA Bette Kalailieff Scholarship!
We are excited to announce that, in our 1st year competing in the Provincial Women's Softball Association (PWSA) - Tier II Division, one of our own players has been selected to receive the PWSA Bette Kalailieff Scholarship Award

Congratulations to Natalie Boros from our Midget tier II team!!

Natalie has been a passionate player with Byron Optimist Fastpitch program since the age of 5. This past year she competed with our new (PWSA) Midget Tier II team.

Her love of the game, dedication to the program and Byron community, combined with her hard work at school and grades made her a stand out candidate for this Scholarship.

She received the Bette Kalailieff scholarship, which is given to current PWSA players who are pursuing post-secondary education in Canada.  The award winners must attain high grades, and show leadership within their community, and school teams.

Congratulations again Natalie & Good luck in your next steps in school!
