Tri County Assesments
Submitted By Webmaster on Monday, August 28, 2017
Byron Optimist Minor Baseball Association will be holding fall tryouts for our 2018 competitive teams at the Squirt (U12), Novice (U14), Bantam (U16) and Midget (U19) levels.

Our teams will be playing league games in the Grand Valley League or the Tri-County League, and will compete in PWSA Tier 2 tournaments. The workouts are for players interested in trying out or just working out and will be held at the Optimist Sports Complex (indoor locations may be sought for inclement weather). We will meet on the following days:
*Sunday Sept 10 3-5 (all divisions, pitchers & catchers can stay for 30 extra min for special instruction)
*Wed Sept 13 6-7:30 (Squirt and Novice), 7:30-9 (Bantam and Midget)
* Thursday Sept 14 6-7:30 (Squirt and Novice), 7:30-9 (Bantam and Midget)
*Sunday Sept 17 3-4:30 (Squirt and Novice), 4:30-6 (Bantam and Midget)

We will have some of our best coaches there to help with workouts, as well as several independent assessors. The cost to register is $15 (payable cash or cheque to Byron Minor Ball) and you will receive a "Byron Blaze" t-shirt and a copy of your assessments. We will be naming our team roster shortly after these workouts and expect to offer off-season workouts at indoor gyms, access to fall pitching clinics, and some new fundraising opportunities. To register for this event, please follow this link (https://goo.gl/forms/cYDZmRuK6DMqNQo12) to visit our signup page.
