U9 NEW FOR 2024  2015-2016 Girls only

Games Sat mornings around 9am for 1.5 hrs.  Byron, North, Lucan/Ilderton, Delaware and SW are all onboard to make this happen. Games will rotate between the associations. Season will start mid-May and go to the July 27th weekend.  A wrap up day on the last weekend is planned.  Practices will be up to the coaching staff.  Games will be similar to U11 but will be a mix of Player pitch and coach pitch.  A great way to keep girls in fastball that maybe don't want to play with the boys in 9U rookie ball.

We provide Jersey, Hat, Pants, Belt and team photo.

You Provide: Baseball Glove, Running Shoes or Baseball Cleats, Batting Helmet with face mask as well as an infielder mask

Day of Week: Monday-Friday from 6:00pm-8pm.  Days of week will vary with set home night in Byron, Away games will be in and around the London and area and will vary depending on team. Season Starts Mid May thru till mid August. Practices will be scheduled by coach and would be on weekends. A mid season tournament and end of year tournament are also part of the season.

Players will be placed on teams according to age and ability.  Byron teams play within the CSL (Community Softball League).  Emphasis is on learning the game, skills development and good sportsmanship.
