Sorry for the miscommunication The time and location for the game in the calendar is incorrect. the Mighty GFC will take be taking their talons to St. Thomas for a 2pm game at the Greenlane Sauve Complex (Behind Fanshawe College) on Sunday August 9th. The last league game before the playoffs start - First playoff game is Tuesday 6pm at the Mount Brydges Arena vs Byron #2

I just heard from the South coach via email. the Diamonds are NOT too wet. Game tonight is NOT cancelled. It will NOT be rescheduled.

Game scheduled tonight for 6pm tonight at the complex against Strathroy has been cancelled. Game Thursday at Heritage Park is still on like Donkey Kong.

Great start to the season!! the boys are playing great - swinging the bats, pitching the ball over the plaste and having a ton of fun.  They seem to have landed on the team name the Golden Funky Chickens (or GFC) and Trent introduced the team cheer "Yes Ma'am!"  last night.   Luckily its not too much of a stretch for the coaches to share the humour of 9-11 year old boys given our maturity level! Practice Sunday May 24 at 3pm and should go until around 4pm. We'll continue to work on fundamental skills and decision making during game play.
